Norwex announced an enhancement to their leadership program that awards each Senior Vice President Leader one trip over to China to visit our factory and team there. This was truly a trip of a lifetime, and it confirmed to me that China is the right fit for making these incredible cloths with such intricate technology!
Over my past 6 years as a Norwex consultant, I’ve occasionally heard this question. “Why are the cloths made in China?”. Simply put, China offers the highest textile expertise in the world, which is necessary for our extremely high technology and quality of our cloths!
Norwex is a global company, sourcing their products from locations that are best equipped to offer Norwex QUALITY! For instance, the Norwex microfiber is made in China, while their skin care line is made in Israel. Their Laundry Detergent made in Canada; several of the Norwex Enzyme Cleaners (i.e. Mattress Cleaner and Oven & Grill Cleaner) are made in the USA. Not only are we providing an incredible number of jobs to our North American consultants and global headquarter employees, but also blessing many around the world with excellent working conditions and opportunity!
Some of us have held the idea that China makes “cheap” products… yet, how many of us rely on our iPhone ALL the time!? Guess where your iPhone is made? What we’ve learned is that many very high-end products are manufactured in China. Here are some of the highlights from our Norwex visit!
We could not possibly impact and bless homes all across North America (and beyond) if it were not for our incredible production teams around the globe! It was such a privilege to spend time with Norwex Global CEO, Eivind Schakt; Global Chief Sales Officer, Debbie Bolton; CEO of Norwex Canada, Judy Letain; Regional Sales Manager, Brian Dill; Chief Product Officer, David Peeters; and the factory managers and staff. Once again, confirming that Norwex has the right people in the right positions to support incredible long-term success & growth!!
